'Large quantity' of ecstasy seized in Darndale

A man in his 30s was arrested this afternoon.

ECSTASY TABLETS WITH an estimated street value of €400,000 were seized by gardaí in Darndale this afternoon.

A man in his 30s was arrested and is being questioned in relation to the haul.

Gardaí said the “large quantity” of tablets were found during a search of a car in the Darndale area at about 12.30pm.

The suspect is being held under section two of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.

Investigations continue and further updates are expected later today.
