They were indeed. I heard one of the voices on the Nuacht on the National Broadcaster the other day and I was right back in the hall listening to the tape/CD for the Leaving Cert. *shudder*

Tape was actually very easy this year. I actually checked to make sure I had the honours paper!

The best exam advice I ever got; read the question paper at least once!
I remember coming out of the room to see the girls from a different room in tears. Someone had gotten a coughing fit in the middle of it and they wouldn’t replay the part of the tape people couldn’t hear. ( yes it was a tape in 1999)
Oh we used to love saying that out loud every time in class along with a load beep noise too!
