After indulging on a pancake or two yesterday, this Christian tradition sees the start of the 40-day lead in to Easter where many aim to test themselves and give up something during this time.

Today, we’re asking you: Are you giving something up for Lent?
Maybe our TDs could get up a little earlier than usual, maybe work a little overtime, maybe work a 48 week-year like most of us do.

Homelessness rising, housing crisis, more people than ever on trolleys…sorry can’t look at any of that because of Brexit. Don’t blame us for those things. It’s not like we have been in office for years and just let those issues get worse…

Good, it might slow down Leo’s sneaky Carbon Tax that he’s trying to get Revenue to take over like the Property Tax, which reminds me, what have you done so far with the Carbon Tax and the VAT on petrol, diesel, gas oh yeah and the Sugar Tax and let us not forget Property Tax and while your at it, tell us about the Digital Media Tax which you’d like to replace the TV license with, God I’m exhausted ZZZZ
So our country comes to a stand still while another country sorts out it’s own mess?
