Leo Varadkar got a dig in at Paul Murphy yesterday on Twitter

Ouch.

MINISTER FOR HEALTH Leo Varadkar is fond of the odd tweet or two.

The Fine Gael politician can be quite vocal on a range of issues, engaging with people tweeting at him (it can sometimes get a bit heated).

He has now used to get a bit of a dig in at Anti-Austerity Alliance TD Paul Murphy.

It has since between retweeted and favourited more than 500 times, but Murphy was quick to clarify what he meant…

… and fire back, with a video of Varadkar from before the 2011 general election, calling to burn the bondholders.

Take it outside, lads.
