A futuristic-looking luxury car with eye catching design details that really make it stand out from the crowd. A car that is super refined and smooth on the road – yes, even our bumpy roads. A car that allows me to be a hedonist and environmental warrior at the same time. I’d buy a Lexus RX450h hybrid SUV.
Why a Lexus RX450h?
The Lexus RX450h is a great car. It is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine assisted by an electric motor, and has an all-wheel drive system. It has polarising looks but I happen to think it looks great. It has an imposing lower body with a massive spindle grille and it really looks like no other SUV on the road at the moment.
The cabin is elegant and sleek with leather, wood and metallic materials that contrast well to make each element stand out. The cabin is very user-friendly and there is a focused driving space with a head up display and a great infotainment system. Another excellent feature of the cabin is the amount of head and legroom for all on board, even in the back.
But it is this car’s refinement that is its real selling point. Out on the road the cabin is near-silent and it makes driving a very pleasant and calm experience. The seats are supremely comfortable as is the ride.
What’s special about this particular one?
This particular RX 450h comes in Luxury trim. It is finished in a cool Sonic Titanium metallic paint and rolls on 20-inch alloy wheels. It also has rear window and rear side window privacy glass.
Inside the car is finished a beautiful ivory leather with black inlays and a wood trim finish on the dash. There is a 12.3-inch multimedia display operated by Remote Touch, Lexus Premium Navigation and a 12-speaker Pioneer audio system with subwoofer. It also has a wireless phone charger and Bluetooth, heated and ventilated front seats and smart power tailgate.
