Limerick Fire and Rescue Service said no injuries have been reported and they are advising people living in the area to close doors and windows.

This is the second large commercial fire the service dealt with in the last 48 hours.

Firefighters were yesterday tackling a blaze at a scrap yard on the Ballysimon Road. This fire has now been brought under control – the service left the scene at 4am this morning.
