Poll: Would the fear of loneliness stop you from emigrating?

A new website for emigrants has found 71% experience some homesickness.

A NEW GOVERNMENT-FUNDED website has been set up to give advice to those thinking of emigrating.

Mindhowyougo.ie is a joint initiative between Crosscare and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

As part of the website those who are thinking of heading off are able to access advice from those who already have.

The website has a particular section dedicated to homesickness where 71% of emigrants said they experienced some form of it after emigrating.

If you were thinking of moving away, could the fear of being away from your friends and family stop you?
