Is this your dog? Gardaí rescued her from running into traffic

‘Laurie’, as the gardaí are calling her, was found running in front of cars on Clontarf Road.

IS THIS YOUR dog?

She was found by gardaí while running in front of cars on Clontarf Road this morning. The kind gardaí from Raheny garda station brought the dog back to the station, before getting her checked out at a local vet’s.

Garda Keith Gleeson told TheJournal.ie that the dog, who they are calling ‘Laurie’, is not microchipped. Microchips help to identify the owner of the dog.

Laurie is currently in Raheny garda station. “She’s lovely – really playful,” said Garda Gleeson, adding they think she is about two or three years of age.

If Laurie’s owners don’t claim her, she will be brought to the city’s dog pound. “We’d rather find the owner,” said Garda Gleeson.

If you believe this is your dog, contact Raheny Garda Station at (01) 6664300.
