THE WINNER OF the €1 million National Lottery Christmas Millionaire Raffle has less than 24 hours left to claim their prize.
The deadline is 5pm tomorrow.
The ticket was bought at the Topaz Service Station on Lower Tivoli Road in Cork on 21 December 2016.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize in person at National Lottery Headquarters on Abbey Street in Dublin.
In August of last year, a lucky Cork family syndicate claimed a €381,863 EuroMillions Prize just one hour before the prize claim deadline following an extensive media campaign.
National Lottery Chief Executive Dermot Griffin said:
With just hours left to go until the deadline we would urge all National Lottery players to check in their homes and cars for any misplaced Millionaire Raffle tickets purchased just before Christmas last year, and ask all players to remind anyone that they might have bought a raffle ticket for as a Christmas present to also check their tickets.
The ticket number is 179740.
The National Lottery is advising players to check their tickets. If you’re the ticketholder, sign the back of the ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.

On a slightly separate note, I found a couple of lotto quick picks in my car today that I’d forgotten about and went on line to check them. While I didn’t win anything one thing that caught my eye was that the main lotto draw has only been won once so far in 2017, I think it was 1st March. I also noticed that the amount it rolled over to was getting less and less each draw. I’ve always thought the increase in the jackpot total following a roll over is related to the number of tickets sold but when you consider that more people buy lotto tickets as the jackpot prize increases then surely the amount it increases to from draw to draw should increase. Am I missing something or have I seen too many “conspiracy theory” stories? :-)
It’s been well documented that it’s harder to win the lotto jackpot as ders more number also price is gone up per ticket so us fools keep giving it , give to charity if not claimed
Some how my online account got locked from incorrect password been entered to many times , never bothered unlocking it best thing I ever done had be spending far to much compare to win ratio . It’s the biggest gambling problem n people don’t class it as gambling
