Uisce Éireann: North Dublin customers may get low water pressure due to burst main

Repairs to the pipe may not be completed until next Tuesday due to the complexity of the works.

LAST UPDATE | 5 Apr

UISCE ÉIREANN HAS advised customers to expect reduced water pressure in areas of north Dublin because a “major” water main has burst in Fingal.

The state water body said a number of customers “may experience slightly lower pressures than normal” but that repairs to the pipe might not be completed until next Tuesday due to the complexity of the works.

The areas where customers may experience lower pressure include:

  • Carpenterstown

  • Castleknock

  • Laurel Lodge

  • Coolmine

  • Lohunda

  • O Neills Corner

  • Cabra West

  • Ashtown

  • Navan Road

  • Pelletstown

  • Nephin Road

  • Blackhorse Avenue

“We will continue to provide an update on repairs as the works progress and thank customers for their patience,” a spokesperson said.

For updates on local water supply issues, customers are advised to visit the Water Supply Updates section of Uisce Éireann’s website
