Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Luas crash

A woman in her 30s was seriously injured after being hit by a tram on the Red Line last night.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have made a fresh appeal to anybody who may have witnessed last night’s collision on the Luas Red Line to come forward to help in their investigations.

A woman in her 30s remains in a serious condition in hospital after she was hit by a Luas tram at the Black Horse stop in Dublin city at about 8.05pm yesterday.

The incident happened near the junction of the Naas and Davitt roads near Inchicore.

Gardaí are asking anyone who was travelling on the Luas line or in the vicinity of the Black Horse stop between 7.45 and 8.15pm to contact them at the Sundrive Road station on 01 666 6600 or the Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
