Passengers walk the track after power-cut stops some Luas trams

Part of the green line isn’t working.

PART OF THE Luas green line is down this morning, meaning passengers have had to walk the track.

The Luas website says that services on the green line are only running at the moment from Carrickmines and Beechwood.

There is no service between St Stephens Green and Beechwood, and Carrickmines and Bridesglen:

This is due to a power failure in the city centre which has affected the power at St Stephens Green and other sections of the line.  We together with external contractors are doing our utmost to restore a full line as soon as possible.

The red line services are not affected.
