Services on red Luas line delayed due to failed tram

A tram had failed on the line at Cookstown, causing delays to services to and from Tallaght to the city centre.

SERVICES ON the Luas red line are running with some delays this morning.

The delays were caused by a failed tram on the line at Cookstown, which meant no services for some time between Belgard and Tallaght.

The failed tram has now been removed from line and full services are in operation, though with some delays.

Luas has said it regrets the inconvenience caused by the disruption.
