The Luas operator Transdev released the video as part of its campaign #BeTramAware.

It says the campaign focuses on showing cyclists how close they can come to being seriously injured when breaking red lights.

This video shows some of the irresponsible cyclist behaviour that Luas drivers see on a daily basis and which puts both cyclists and Luas passengers in danger.

Luas are encouraging the public, including cyclists, to share the video on social media.

Transdev added, “The trams are very much a part of Dublin’s transport infrastructure and this type of cyclist behaviour is irresponsible.”
