Poll: Would you let a dog lick your face?

Give it to us straight. Be honest.

DOG EXPERTS HAVE warned that owners who let their dogs lick their faces are putting themselves at risk of picking up dangerous germs.

Anyone who has owned a dog knows that being affectionate is a key part of the relationship.

However John Oxford, a professor of virology and bacteriology at Queen Mary University in London, has warned that the bacteria in a dog’s muzzle and mouth can pass on potentially dangerous viruses and germs to humans.

Over to you: would you let a dog lick your face?

Poll Results:

No, that's gross (7146)
Yes, but only my own dog (3893)
Yes, I'm fine with it (2817)
