Poll: Have you ever gone to work when you were sick?

Your daily bite-sized ballot break.

A NEW SURVEY published in Britain today found that 70% of employees have gone to work when they felt unwell.

Almost half of respondents said they were afraid their work would pile up if they took time off, while a similar number said they felt their employer prioritised the performance of the company over the health and wellbeing of employees.

The average employee in Ireland takes around 5 sick days per year – a figure which has decreased over the past decade.

What about you - have you ever gone to work when you were sick?

Poll Results:

Yes (17902)
No (252)
