1. A man was shot outside a gym in Balbriggan this morning. He is fighting for his life at Beaumont Hospital.
2. Some more breaking news this afternoon… Property developer Harry Crosbie has taken legal action against Nama.
3. The BAI has upheld a complaint made about remarks by Paul Costelloe on RTÉ recently. The fashion designer said:
The English, they love us and they hate us, you know, you just have to put up with that. Certainly the Irish are never short of chatting up and, you know, we have that skill and I’m sure these young guys are doing great and damaging a lot of young English virgins, so there you are, and good luck to them.
4. Seven men and one woman appeared in court this morning, charged in relation to the death of 20-year-old Dale Creighton in Tallaght this year.
5. Police who found $8.5 million dollars in a cupboard at a flat in east London have warned that it could be fake. Still though, look at all that money…
