Luxury goods company establishes international HQ in Ireland

Online retailer chooses Dublin and Limerick as the locations for its global operations.

Up to 200 jobs are to be created in Dublin and Limerick with the establishment of the international headquarters of gilt.com in Ireland.

Gilt Groupe is a US online retailer which has chosen Dublin for its HQ and software development centre, while a customer support centre is to be opened in Limerick.

The company anticipates that between 100 and 200 jobs will be created over the next few years.
Giilt.com specialises in designer brands at discount prices and has over 3.5 million members. This is the company’s first European operation.

Recruitment for roles in Dublin will begin immediately, while it’s thought that the Limerick office will be open by September.
