A TRUCK WENT on fire on the M1 today, leading to the closure of part of the M1 motorway.
Gardaí confirmed that the truck went on fire near a slip road.
The AA reports that the M1 Dublin/Belfast road is closed northbound between J16 Dundalk South and J17 Dundalk following the fire.
Diversions are in place.

and if he had any animals in the truck, lets hope they’re ok too…. :-O
No animals the truck was carrying hay or straw 5 units of the fire brigade on site to get it under control
