Heavy delays on M50 after car goes on fire

The incident happened near J14 Leopardstown, Dublin.

Emergency services, including two units of Dublin Fire Brigade, attended the scene.

The AA Roadwatch said the car is now in the hard shoulder and lanes have been re-opened, but there will be heavy traffic delays in the area.

They have asked motorists to drive with “extreme care”.

No injuries have been reported.
