The best spots to see tonight's Macnas Halloween parade in Dublin

Let’s get our spooky spectacle on.

THE MACNAS PARADE is a spectacle to behold – and always a popular one for all ages.

It thrilled watchers in the company’s native Galway yesterday evening and it takes to the streets of Dublin city centre for a final blast this evening.

If you are thinking of going along, it’s worth spread out along the route so that you get up close and personal as it’s always a well-attended event.

To that end, take a place by 5.30pm (it begins at 6pm) – this is the route so you can pre-plan:

So the streets covered are:

Moore Street > Henry Street > Mary Street > Capel Street > Little Britain > Halston Street > Mary’s Lane

Henry Street, Mary Street and Capel Street are particularly good for family groups and Little Britain Street tends not to be as crowded, as it is quite wide and away from the main shopping streets.

There are two designated viewing areas for people with disabilities but to take up a position there, you need to reserve in advance with info@bramstokerfestival.com (spaces are limited).
