Malaysia Airlines flight makes safe emergency landing after a landing gear failure

The plane landed in Kuala Lumpur at 6.56 pm GMT.

A MALAYSIA AIRLINES flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bangalore in India has made a safe emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur after its landing gear failed after take off.

Flight MH192 left Kuala Lumpur International Airport about four hours ago but the aircraft’s right-hand landing gear malfunctioned upon takeoff and was forced to fly in holding pattern to burn fuel.

 

The airline has said in a statement that the Boeing 737 aircraft was carrying 159 passengers and seven crew and landed safely at 6.56 pm GMT.
