Motorcyclist (20s) dies in single-vehicle collision in Finglas

The collision happened shortly after 2pm on Wednesday.

A MOTORCYCLIST HAS died following a single-vehicle collision in Dublin.

The collision occurred on the Old North Road in Finglas shortly after 2pm on Wednesday. 

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s, was fatally injured. The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will be made for a post-mortem examination.

The road has re-opened after an examination of the scene was conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to them.
