Man (40s) dies in quad bike incident in Donegal

He was taken to Letterkenny Hospital by ambulance but later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

A MAN HAS died following a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a quad bike in Donegal. 

The man in his 40s was riding a quad bike on a local road at Mullinboys near Mountcharles in Co Donegal at around 7pm yesterday. 

He sustained serious head injuries after he came off his bike and was transferred to Letterkenny Hospital by ambulance. 

He was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where he has since passed. 

Gardaí are investigating the cause of the incident.
