Man airlifted from boat

A GHANIAN MAN WAS airlifted from a Spanish trawler last night after becoming ill on board. The Shannon-based coastguard helicopter airlifted the man from the vessel, located 145km off-shore, and flew him to Shannon for medical attention. He is recovering at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick and his condition is described as stable.
