Man arrested following knife robbery at children's play centre

The incident happened at around 6pm on Sunday evening.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING AN armed robbery at an adventure centre in south Dublin have arrested a man in his 20s.

He was detained at Tallaght Garda Station under the Criminal Justice Act earlier today before later being released without charge.

A file on the case is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The incident happened at around 6pm on Sunday and saw three men arrive at the Tallaght Adventure Park armed with a long-bladed knife and an iron bar.

One staff member was hospitalised following the incident and the thieves fled the scene empty handed.
