Two arrested after €100,000 worth of drugs found in car search

A 54-year-old man and 40-year-old woman have been arrested.

A MAN AND a woman have been arrested after €100,000 worth of cannabis herb was discovered in a car in Limerick.

The car was stopped yesterday at Davin Gardens, Caherdavin, as part of an ongoing operation by gardai.

A 54-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman are now being held at Mayorstone and Roxboro Garda stations.

Gardaí commented that drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities.
