61-year-old man arrested over murder of 28-year-old Edward Gibson

Gibson died after being shot in the stomach and chest last October.

A 61-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Edward Gibson.

The suspect was arrested in the west of the city this morning and is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Gibson was murdered in the Clonfadden Crescent area of west Belfast last year.

The 28-year-old died after being shot in the stomach and chest.

A number of people have already been charged as part of the overall investigation.
