A man arrested and a firearm seized in Tallaght

He was detained in relation to the discharge of gun in the Tallaght area on the 10th and 15th of October.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a 20-year-old man in Tallaght in the early hours of this morning.

The arrest is part of an ongoing garda investigation into the discharge of a firearm in the Tallaght area on the 10th and 15th of October.

The male is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended in Tallaght Garda station, where he can be detained for up to 72 hours.
