Man arrested for naked unicycle riding

Joseph Glynn Farley told Texas police he liked the feel of riding without his clothes. They weren’t impressed.

POLICE SAID JOSEPH Glynn Farley was distracting drivers – which is hardly surprising, as he was riding a unicycle in the nude.

Farley was arrested in Kemah, Texas yesterday for creating a hazard after he stripped off and saddled up on his unicycle.

Kemah police chief Greg Rikard says the 45-year-old was not intoxicated or impaired when he was arrested on a bridge in the city 20 miles southeast of Houston.

Rikard says Farley had been falling off the unicycle and into traffic.

Farley told officers that he liked the feeling of riding without his clothes, which were found at the base of the bridge.

Police charged Farley, from the town of Clear Lake, with the misdemeanour of indecent exposure. Bond is set at $1,500.

Online jail records did not list a lawyer for Farley.
