Man arrested over missing baby who vanished in London 11 years ago

The 38-year-old was arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a baby in London in 2004.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of a baby born in Barnet in 2004, who has not been seen for more than 11 years, arrested a 38-year-old man in Hertfordshire yesterday.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed the man was arrested on suspicion of preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice.

He was taken to a west London police station where he remains in custody.

A 31-year-old woman who was previously charged in connection with the investigation appeared in custody at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, 8 July.

Two other people, a 50-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man, remain on bail.
