32-year-old man arrested for murder in Tralee in 2005

George Tkeshelashvili was stabbed to death.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the murder of George Tkeshelashvili.

Tkeshelashvili died in Tralee on 15 October 2005.

He was stabbed at Westward Court Mary St and was later pronounced dead at Kerry General Hospital.

A 32-year-old was arrested at Dublin airport today in connection with the murder.

He was taken to Tralee Garda station where he was charged.

He appeared before a special sitting of Killarney District Court at 7pm this evening.

He was subject to a European arrest warrant and was arrested on foot of this warrant on 18 February 2014 by police in Valencia, Spain.
