Man charged following massive heroin seizure

Six kilos of the drug, worth an estimated €900,000, were seized at a premises in Newcastle, Co Dublin.

A MAN HAS been charged following the seizure of an estimated €900,000 worth of heroin.

The 33-year-old is due to appear before court later this morning.

Another male arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.

Gardaí seized six kilos of heroin yesterday a premises in Newcastle, Co Dublin.

It was part of an on-going operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs by organised crime gangs in the Clondalkin and Ballyfermot areas of Dublin.
