Man charged after €100k heroin find in Tallaght

The 29-year-old appeared before Tallaght District Court this morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE FOUND heroin with an estimated street value of €100,000 in an apartment in Tallaght.

The search, planned by the Tallaght Drugs Unit, uncovered the drugs yesterday afternoon. Drug paraphernalia was also recovered.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and was detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.

He subsequently appeared before Tallaght District Court charged in connection with this incident this morning.
