Man charged with attempted murder after Tyrone attack

A 47-year-old man was cut on the throat and face during the attack.

A MAN HAS been charged with attempted murder following an attack on another man in Omagh, Co Tyrone, yesterday morning.

Mark McGlone, of Castleview Park, was arrested following the attack, during which a 47-year-old man was cut on the throat and face, the BBC reports.

The victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, RTÉ reports.

McGlone, 26, is due to appear at Omagh Magistrates Court today.
