Man to appear in court over murder of Anna Colomines in Dublin

A 35-year-old man is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court tomorrow charged in connection with the case.

A 35-YEAR-OLD man who was arrested in connection with the murder of Anna Colomines will appear in court tomorrow.

Colomines, who worked as a senior team leader in PayPal, was found dead at an address in Dublin city centre last month.

It’s understood she had lived in Dublin for a number of years.

Gardaí were called to the scene of a flat in Dorset Square at around 11.30pm on 24 October.

When they arrived, they discovered a 37-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man with serious injuries.

Colomines was pronounced dead at the scene and it is understood she suffered stab wounds. The man was taken to the Mater Hospital and his injuries were described as serious.
