Man threatened with knife while walking in Rathmines Park last night

It happened at around 12:15am.

A MAN IS due in court this morning in connection with a robbery in Rathmines Park last night.

A 27-year-old man was threatened with a knife and had his mobile phone stolen while walking in Rathmines Park at around 12:15am.

The suspect ran in the direction of Rathgar Road and gardai arrested a man in the area after being alerted to the incident.

The mobile phone was recovered during a follow up search.

The 33-year-old was charged and is due to appear in court at around 10:30 this morning.
