Man due before court over €1.5 million cocaine seizure

The seizure occurred in Rathmines yesterday morning as part of Operation Thor.

GARDAÍ HAVE CHARGED a 26-year-old man in connection with a drug seizure which occurred yesterday in Rathmines, Dublin 6.

He is due to appear before Dublin District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon at 12 midday.

Yesterday morning, gardaí seized 22kgs of cocaine valued at €1.5 million in a raid on a property in Rathmines.

The drugs were seized following the planned search of a property on the Rathmines Road at around 10am.

Officers said investigations are ongoing.

Comments have been closed as a case is due before the courts.
