Man due in court over alleged threats to kill and possession of a gun

The man in his 40s was arrested yesterday.

A MAN IS due in court this afternoon in connection with alleged threats to kill and the unlawful possession of a firearm.

The man in his 40s is charged in relation to an incident at a house in Dun Laoghaire in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Gardaí then carried out a search of the house on Patricks Street yesterday.

They discovered what they believe to be a firearm.

He was arrested under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act and he’s due before Dun Laoighaire District Court later today.
