26-year-old man dies after falling ill at UK music festival

The man collapsed at a campsite last night.

A YOUNG MAN has died after falling ill at the Creamfields music festival in Cheshire, England.

Police said they were notified last night following concerns for a man in one of the campsites at the dance music event.

“Sadly, a 26-year-old man from the Cornwall area passed away,” they said.

BBC reports the man collapsed at the campsite and emergency services were unable to revive him.

Police said formal identification is to take place and they are awaiting the results of the post mortem examination to establish the cause of death.

“Our thoughts are with his family at this time,” they added.
