Man dies after Dublin shooting

Gardaí continue to appeal for information as victim of Sunday’s attack dies in hospital.

A MAN WHO WAS CRITICALLY INJURED in a shooting attack in west Dublin on Sunday night has died from his injuries.

The Irish Independent reports that Robert Ryle, 30, from Ballyfermot, was shot several times as he got out of a car outside a house in Foxdene Park in Clondalkin at around 8.30pm.

He was shot several times in the chest and neck and underwent surgery at Tallaght Hospital.

Investigators believe they have recovered the gun used in the attack, according to the Independent. RTÉ reports that gardaí continue to appeal for information about the shooting.
