Man dies after Tipperary road crash

The 68-year-old was fatally injured in the accident yesterday evening.

GARDAÍ AT TEMPLEMORE are investigating the circumstances of a road crash which saw one man lose his life in Thurles yesterday evening.

A 68-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving hit a ditch at Cooleeney in Moyne at about 7pm.

There were no other people involved in the incident as the deceased was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Templemore Garda Station 0504-32630, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
