Man in his 60s dies in Louth house fire

The fire broke out just before 9pm last night.

A MAN IN his 60s has died after a fire at a house in Louth.

The fire broke out just before 9pm last night at the home on Hand Street in Drogheda. The man, who is believed to have lived alone, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital but was pronounced dead.

Gardaí have said they don’t believe there was anything suspicious about the cause of the fire.
