Man dies in Clare crash

A 30-year-old man has died and another man has been seriously injured in a single vehicle crash in Co Clare.

ONE MAN HAS died and another has been seriously injured in a single vehicle crash in Co Clare, which occurred at approximately 8pm yesterday.

The incident took place about 3 miles from Ennis at Clooney Church. The deceased, aged 30, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The car’s other male occupant, 23, was brought to Mid-Western Hospital Limerick, where he remains in a serious condition.

Gardaí investigating the crash have closed off the Ennis to Tulla road for a technical examination. Diversions are in place.
