Man dies in fatal Co Waterford house fire

GARDAÍ IN CO Waterford are investigating a fatal house fire in Ballinamult in which one person was killed. The fire was discovered at a house in Tourneena at around 4.20am today and a 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The body has been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination later today. The scene of the fire has been sealed off for a technical examination and gardaí are investigating the cause of the blaze.
