Man dies in Kerry road crash

A 46-year-old man has died following a single vehicle road traffic crash in Castleisland, Co Kerry, in the early hours of this morning.

A MAN HAS died following a single vehicle road traffic crash in Castleisland, Co Kerry, in the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred on the Castleisland to Scartaglin Road at approximately 2.50am. The man, 46, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí have reported that forensic collision investigators are at the scene, the road is closed, and traffic diversions are in place.
