Man dies in Tipperary car crash

A 38-year-old man died last night after sustaining injuries in a single-vehicle collision at Cahir yesterday afternoon.

A 38-YEAR-OLD man has died following a single-vehicle collision in Tipperary yesterday afternoon.

The man sustained injuries when his Jeep collided with a wall at Mortlestown, Cahir in Tipperary at about 4.30pm on Friday.

He was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel but died from the injuries last night.

He was the sole occupant of the Jeep and no other vehicles were involved in the collision.

Gardaí have asked for witnesses to contact Cahir Garda Station on 052 744 5630 or the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1 800 666 111.
