Man dies in traffic collision in Monaghan

The gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

A MAN IN his 60s has died in traffic collision in County Monaghan today.

At approximately 11.30 am, the man’s van collided with an articulated lorry on the N2 motorway south of Emyvale.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardai and emergency services are at the scene and forensic collision investigators have been notified. Motorists are advised that diversions are in place.
