Man (66) in critical condition following Donegal workplace accident

The incident happened yesterday at Portnoo.

A MAN IS in a critical condition following a workplace accident in Donegal yesterday.

An investigation has been launched by the Health and Safety Authority.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon in Portnoo at roughly 4pm. The man, aged 66, received serious chest injuries.

He was airlifted to Letterkenny General Hospital.

Highland Radio reports that the incident took place at a wood processing plant.
