Man to appear in court after €750,000 worth of heroin found in car

The discovery was made on Monday night,.

A MAN IS due to appear in court tomorrow morning in connection with a €750,000 drugs seizure in Louth on Monday night.

The 38-year-old man was arrested when heroin was discovered during the search of a car in Castlebellingham.

The search was part of an ongoing operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Leinster area.

Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit and the Organised Crime Unit were involved in the seizure.

The man is now due to appear before Dundalk District Court tomorrow morning at 10.30am charged in connection with this seizure.
